Liverpool’s newest private members club has launched, giving guests a first chance to discover just what Royal Institution has to offer.
The club on Colquitt Street rolled out the red carpet to showcase its transformation into a stunning space for members to work, relax and get together.
But there’s far more to Royal Institution than its private lounges and locally-sourced fine food and drink menus – in return for their £250 annual fee, members get a list of perks to enjoy too.
“We want the club to become a business hub for professionals in the city, so not only do they have the all the private facilities here, they also have the benefits of preferential services from local businesses and desirable brands,” explained Royal Institution co-owner Ryan McMahon.
So, what can members expect?
The venue has its own designated transport for members. Those within the city centre can arrange to be collected or dropped at their chosen destination in an energy-efficient Tesla.
Harvey Nichols Beauty Bazaar in Liverpool city centre is offering a whole range of VIP services and special events for members. They will be invited to early product previews, have exclusive use of a beauty concierge personal shopping service, and have access to exclusive brand appointments before or after store opening hours.
Pressed for time but need to look fabulous? Members can take advantage of the ultimate hassle-free beauty experience … Beauty Bazaar’s Stylist at Home service, allowing them to arrange personal shoppers, make-up artists or hair stylists to come and see them in the privacy and comfort of their own home. And for an extra pick-me-up, the Beyond Medispa team will give exclusive discounts on its REVIV IV therapies and vitamin booster shots.
Kelly Edgington at Beauty Bazaar said: “We have a lot of VIP clients who come to us so we’ve been waiting for somewhere in the city to link up with and offer something extra. Royal Institution fits that perfectly.”
Fashion partners in the city include Cricket and Union 22 which has designed the club’s bespoke staff uniforms.
A VIP dry cleaning service will allow members to drop off their clothes by 3pm and have them returned at the same time the following day, and preferential rates/services will be available from businesses such as Hilton Liverpool, Berry BnB, Volkswagen, Bang & Olufsen, Virgin Holidays and Virgin Trains.
In addition to partner benefits, members can also enjoy perks when they’re at the club. They’ll receive a welcome pack with a gift from Whisky Business, wi-fi and wireless printing facilities, complimentary arrival coffee or tea for those dining before 6pm, and priority reservations for table booking and catered private room hire.
Members will also be able to keep their own ‘spirits locker’ – buy a bottle from Whiskey Business and just pay corkage to enjoy it at leisure – and be invited to four themed members parties each year.
