Liverpool just got a bit more of a New York flavour as Frederiks on Hope Street partnered up with The Brooklyn Brewery for an in-venue takeover event.
Starting this week, the bar and kitchen has welcomed the famous Williamsburg brewery to the city’s Georgian Quarter with live music, DJs and product sampling, where you can try the range of Brooklyn Brewery beers before ordering a favourite.
How about the food?
Frederiks kitchen team are pairing food to the Brooklyn Brewery products, with daily special menus designed to match the beers, for a true taste of NYC.
Five of Brooklyn Brewery’s most popular beers will feature in the event including the famous Brooklyn lager, which displays a firm malt centre, supported by a refreshing bitterness and floral hop aroma.
And the beer?
Brooklyn Summer ale is a sunny pale ale with snappy, clean bitterness and a bright, floral aroma; Brooklyn East IPA, a clean, drinkable IPA that’s packed with flavour, Brooklyn Brown ale, a blend of six malts, with a deep russet-brown colour and Brooklyn Sorachi Ace Saison, an unfiltered golden farmhouse ale with a wonderfully clean malt flavour.
The Brooklyn Brewery Takeover runs until Sunday 6th August.
Frederiks is open Monday-Friday from 12pm until 2am, and Saturday and Sunday from 10am until late.
