Hand sanitizer may be in short supply, but 58 Gin Distillery has provided the perfect solution for an annual drinks industry event, with the creation of ‘Gin-itizer’, a hand cleaner made from gin.
The Benevolent, which supports workers in the drinks industry, were unable to source the volume of hand-sanitiser required for its 450-strong event taking place this Thursday 12th March at The Natural History Museum, due to the surge in demand for the product in recent weeks.
That was until 58 Gin stepped in with a solution.
Carmen O’Neal, Managing Director, 58 Gin Distillery explains: “The Benevolent is an incredibly worthwhile charity for our industry and when we heard the event was struggling to source the hand sanitiser we thought we had just what they needed. We distil 1000 litres of alcohol a week so we could afford to spare some to create a Hand Gin-itizer”
Ross Carter, Benevolent CEO commented: “When I called Carmen she wasted no time in creating a drinks industry solution and we’re thankful that 58 Gin Distillery was able to create such a high-quality product at such short notice. Thank you to the 58 Gin team.”
The antibacterial 58 Gin Distillery Hand Gin-itizer is handcrafted with botanicals including aloe vera and is blended with high strength distillate, as are off the shelf products.
